Pilates is a holistic training method that develops strength, flexibility, and balance in equal measure. It focuses on precise movements combined with mindful breathing. Pilates is suitable for people of all ages and health conditions, and it strengthens both body and mind.

Better blood circulation

Activation of happiness hormones such as endorphins, serotonin, oxytocin, and dopamine
The Deep Muscles
The deep muscles, especially those of the core and pelvic floor, provide stability, coordination, and protection against injuries. They work with endurance, often unconsciously, and form the stable foundation upon which larger, faster muscles can exert their power. An imbalance between deep and superficial muscles can lead to tension or problems in joints, muscles, or tendons.
Breathing: the foundation of my method
Joseph Pilates placed great importance on conscious breathing in order to activate the deep core muscles (the Powerhouse) and perform exercises with control. In my classes, each session begins with simple preparatory exercises that specifically train posture and breathing technique. This way, you learn to carry out movements with stability and awareness.
Hormone: Do you know cortisol?
Cortisol is the so-called “stress hormone,” produced by the adrenal glands. It puts the body on alert, mobilizes energy reserves, and supports the muscles, heart, and brain. At the same time, less urgent functions such as digestion are slowed down. Pilates, combined with mindful breathing, helps to reduce stress, relax the body, and restore balance between tension and relaxation.
